I have a lifelong love of music and formed my first band at the age of 12. At a young age I co-founded the band Then Jerico in the 1980's - releasing two UK chart albums, several hit singles and performing in several world tours.

Later I worked as an independent drummer playing and recording with artists such as Belinda Carlisle, Brian Wilson, Chapterhouse and Roxette among others. I also played in very busy function bands, and continue to do so today.

I started teaching drums and guitar in 2000 with the enigmatic Sage and his Brighton RocksKool programme. In 2004 I took my family to live in New Zealand for an adventure, and this is where I established a thriving business as a drum and guitar and band teacher in primary schools for over 10 years.

I have experience of nurturing young musicians from their first notes on drums or guitar into national Battle of the Bands winners. Many of the primary aged children that I have helped to start their musical journey have become accomplished players.

I have recently been teaching drums and guitar at nine schools and to 270 students in the Wealden and Tunbridge Wells areas through a third party provider.
